ANNUAL EXHIBITION AT BIRDWOOD HOUSE SEPTEMBER 2023

An extremely well presented exhibition, thanks to all for your support. One only has to read the many kind comments

in our visitor book to understand the high regard in which our exhibition is held both by locals and visitors.

A wide variety of medium and styles were presented this year, well done to all. Sales were up on last year,

both in framed and unframed paintings from the browser. Card sales were probably a record for recent years.

Framed paintings sold eight, unframed sold seven and cards eighty two.

 

Many congratulations to Isobel Langton in winning the public vote award,

the Vanessa Hill Bronze will grace her mantlepiece for the next twelve months; her painting of Owls (which sold) was stunning.

On another note: Please be aware there might be a issue with our 2024 exhibition at Birdwood as there are some major works

to be carried out on the building. We have however secured a slot for October 2025. News on this to follow.
